The Transition: AR News and Updates

The 25th Anniversary of the USARA National Championships gets underway Friday, 9/27/24 at 9 a.m. Racers will be tackling a rugged and remote course through the Monongahela National Forest and finishing at Snowshoe Mountain Resort, West Virginia.
Spectators attending in person should ask for the printed Race Guide, which will be distributed when teams receive maps at 6 a.m. Friday.
For those watching from home, this year’s race will feature an unprecedented level of coverage from the USARA media team, including a live stream from Snowshoe Village, live gps tracking of teams by Enabled Tracking, special broadcasts throughout the race with dotwatching analysis and team interviews, Field Updates on our blog, professional photos and drone footage, and more.

USARA National Rankings
The 2024 National Championship marks the end of the end of the 2023-2024 race season. The Premier Division Season Champion will be crowned at the awards ceremony on Saturday, Sept. 28. The National Rankings page has the rankings leading into the race as well as an explainer on the calculations.
In the Mixed Division, Full Speed, No Mistakes currently leads all teams with Strong Machine AR and Rib Mountain Racing close behind.
The rankings for the 2024-2025 season start next weekend. The first three Regional Qualifier races for the 2025 National championship have been announced:
Fall Foliage Adventure Race on Oct. 19
Two Rivers Adventure Race on Oct. 26
Raid the Rock on Dec. 21
