Soar Women+ Adventure Racing Retreat
Find out more about the SOAR Women+ Adventure Racing Retreat on their website or listen to this week’s The Dark Zone episode. Karyn DuLaney, Britt Mason, and Jen Tillman join the show to discuss SOAR (Stretching Ourselves in Adventures and Racing), the Women of AR Team, and the immersive retreat filled with workshops, clinics, and community, plus an orienteering meet to finish off the weekend. There is also discussion about the Women of AR’s commanding performance at this year’s USARA National Championship Race.
Adventure Racing Research Request
The following is a message from students at Washington and Lee University. They reached out to USARA for assistance on this project and we agreed to do our part in supporting the community and in the interest of learning more about the sport ourselves:
Washington and Lee students of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department are creating a social media campaign to promote Adventure Addicts Racing and their March event. As part of our research, we’re gathering insights from the adventure racing community to better understand what engages and motivates racers.
This anonymous survey aims to gather insights on participants' engagement, knowledge, and experience within the sport of adventure racing. Your responses will help us understand how to better connect with and grow the adventure racing community.
