HostBrent has been adventure racing all over the world since 2006, and he began race directing shortly thereafter. In 2015, he and Abby Perkiss founded Rootstock Racing, joining the ARWS in 2022. He has worked with USARA in various capacities since 2015 and is always excited to talk adventure racing!

Technical ManagerBrian began adventure racing in 2011 and hasn’t looked back. In 2021, he founded The Dark Zone: An Adventure Racing Podcast and has worked on several other media initiatives chronicling AR. He is passionate about recording and sharing the narratives of racers, RDs, and others associated with the sport, and USARA is grateful for him as he lends his podcasting expertise and experience to The Checkpoint.
