USARA ADVENTURE RACE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, Sept. 27-28
On Friday, Sept. 27, at 9 am ET, 74 teams from all over the United States will toe the line in Snowshoe, WV, for the start the 2024 USARA Adventure Race National Championship seeking the finishers medal (above) and possibly the title of Adventure Race National Champion in one of three categories: Premier Mixed Gender, All-Women, and All-Men.
The top Masters team (avg. age of 55, min. age of 45) across all categories will win a cash prize. Awards will also be given to the fastest teams on a designated orienteering, paddling, and mountain bike courses. Special awards are given in the Spirit Award category for altruism, fair play, team spirit, or other AR values on course and the Peter Jolles Award is given for ingenuity in navigation on the course.

USARA National Points Series Rankings
Nationals also marks the end of the 2023-24 Season National Points Series. The Premier Division Points Series Champion will be crowned at the awards ceremony.
In the Mixed Division, Full Speed, No Mistakes currently leads all teams with Strong Machine AR and Rib Mountain Racing close behind.
The 23-24 season points are also a way for teams to lock in a guaranteed-entry for next season’s National Championship Race.
Check out the Current Points Rankings across the many divisions on the website as well as how the rankings are calculated.
Individual Power Rankings are available to see how many points each racer has accumulated across all the races they’ve participated in this season.
