A new logo for a new season!

USARA is thrilled to launch its new website and logo at the start of the USARA 2023 National Points Series season.

The intent of the logo redesign is to better convey the energy and passion of the sport to avid adventure racers, those new to the sport, and potential racers alike. The logo still uses the standard red, white, and blue colors and adds a renewed focus to distinguish the sport of adventure racing.

“There is a true sense of adventure, community, and even playfulness in adventure racing that is unlike any other sport. Yes, adventure racing is extreme. But it is also extremely welcoming,” says USARA Executive Director Michael Garrison. “Adventure racing is a sport that changes lives for the better. The logo redesign is the first step in our effort to better show the many faces of adventure racing and all the gritty, exciting, and heartwarming experiences that keep us coming back for more.”

While adventure racers are used to “squiggly lines,” USARA wants to clearly continue to support the direction of adventure racing with plenty of room between our lines for everyone.

Since its founding in 1998, USARA has continually acted to build, support, and promote the sport of adventure racing. USARA organizes the annual Adventure Race National Championship event as well as the Adventure Race National Points Series Champion in the mixed, female, and male divisions. The organization also provides comprehensive general liability event insurance for race directors, supplementary insurance for racers, race sanctioning, safety standards, race directing guidelines, ecological and sustainability guidelines, a national rankings system, and sponsorship support to race directors.
